On June 9, 2015, the International Visegrad Fund marks 15 years since its establishment in 2000. In the past 15 years, the fund awarded over 6,000 grant projects, individual scholarships and artists-in-residence arrangements in more than 35 countries in total worth exceeding €61 million.
As of today, applying is possible within this year’s call for projects in the Visegrad+ (Western Balkans) grant program. The priorities are unchanged from last year’s call, but the regional cooperation area newly includes projects from the fields of education and culture. Prospective applicants are kindly requested to contact the fund with any concrete questions or for consultations of their proposals.
We have encountered several fraudulent e-mail messages targeting our grantees and soliciting information about the grant projects and are sent as if on behalf of the International Visegrad Fund. These e-mails have been distributed from the account sv.visegradfund@gmail.com and were not sent by us. If you receive any such messages, please forward them to us and ignore them. Today’s Council of Ambassadors held in Budapest approved the following project proposals submitted within the December call for (V4EaP) Flagship Projects:
The International Visegrad Fund is hereby announcing a call for proposals within the 2015 chapter Visegrad Strategic Conferences program. Please note that the call is only targeting applicants registered in Poland. The deadline for on-line submission of applications is April 15, 2015.
Given the fact the March deadline for Standard Grants falls on Sunday (March 15), hard-copy applications (signed printouts of the submitted application forms and the accompanying documents) will be accepted with Monday’s (March 16) postmark, or can be delivered in person to the fund by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015. Please note that the deadline for electronic submission remains unchanged, i.e., 11:59:59 a.m. (noon) on Sunday, March 15. Thank you for your understanding; we look forward to receiving your proposals.
We will be accepting hard-copy versions of applications for Small Grants (March 1 deadline) still on Monday, March 2; if posted, envelopes will be accepted with March 2 postmark, or will be accepted if delivered in person by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2. Please note that this postponement does not affect the deadline for electronic submission of project proposals by 12 p.m. (noon) on Sunday, March 1.
As of 2015, original documents are no longer required as part of applications submitted within grant programs. Simple photocopies (or scan printouts) of letters of intent will be accepted with the signed application printouts after the application forms are submission to the server (please see the full list of mandatory documents). This change affects all grant programs. Thank you for your cooperation; we look forward to your project proposals!
