Visegrad University Studies Grants—EaP

The Visegrad University Studies Grants (VUSG) pro­gram tar­get­ing the coun­tries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) expands the cur­rent VUSG pro­gram and offers grant fund­ing to projects devel­op­ing uni­ver­sity courses of degree pro­grams that will be launched at col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties accred­ited in the EaP coun­tries. The pro­gram enables these col­leges, uni­ver­si­ties or their legal units (schools, fac­ul­ties) to apply with pro­pos­als for courses or pro­grams of var­i­ous aca­d­e­mic fields that focus on shar­ing spe­cific V4 expe­ri­ence with democ­ra­ti­za­tion and trans­for­ma­tion process, regional coop­er­a­tion, the EU acces­sion process, etc.

Any pub­lic or pri­vate uni­ver­sity in the EaP coun­tries is eli­gi­ble for the grant. The course/program can be taught in any lan­guage. The course/program is expected to secure for each semes­ter of its enroll­ment at least two/three rel­e­vant guest lec­tur­ers from two V4 coun­tries (oth­ers than that of the applicant).

Annual bud­get: €80,000

The project appli­ca­tion must be filled out in English and should include the fol­low­ing attachments:

  1. Professional CV(s) of the coordinator(s)
  2. Course syllabus/program curriculum
  3. Tentative let­ters of agree­ment from the guest lecturers
  4. Confirmation about the enroll­ment of the course within given pro­gram (continuation)
  5. Copy of min­is­te­r­ial accred­i­ta­tion (where applicable)
  6. Copy of iden­ti­fi­ca­tion doc­u­ments of the appli­cant institution
  7. Course description(s) for each course within a degree program
